Why These Papers
We teach seven papers. Not thirteen.
Most tutoring services advertise the entire ACCA syllabus. They can only do that by hiring people who've read the textbook — not people who've lived the work.
We've taken a different approach. Every paper we teach is one all three of us have genuinely worked in: BT, MA and FA, the foundations everything else is built on — and AA, FR, SBR and AAA, the audit and reporting papers that have been our actual careers for over fifteen years each, across the Big Four.
We don't teach Taxation or Financial Management. Not because they're beyond us, but because we'd be teaching them from a textbook rather than from experience — and that's precisely the kind of tutoring we built Provenway Academy to replace.
We're also still doing the job. All three of us are Senior Audit Managers at Big Four firms. Tutoring isn't our day job — it's the thing we kept being asked to do, by colleagues, by juniors, by students who'd heard we explained things in a way that finally made sense. Eventually enough people asked that we built somewhere proper to do it.
That's the trade-off, stated honestly: fewer papers, taught by people who use this material every week in real practice — rather than every paper, taught by people who don't.
